History

The family owned company was established in early 1920’s  by a dynamic businessman Mr. D.K. Podar. His son Mr. Satyanarayan D. Podar grew the business after joining in 1947. Today the business is spearheaded by Mr. Dilip S Podar, achieving exponential growth. The family takes its service vision forward with the 4th Generation – Mr. Gaurav Podar.

Some notable achievements

• Sourcing of high tech valves for the Indian Nuclear Power industry.
• Introducing package supply of high tensile steel for offshore oil platforms
• Supply of “ready to fabricate” cut to size nickel alloy plates & bars for reducing wastage.
• Supply of heavy thickness steel plates upto 600mm thick in plasma cut deburred condition.
• Erection and Commissioning of 3 x 10” Marine Loading Arms from sea-side using floating cranes for the first time in India.
